This week we tried something a little different. Instead of writing something completely new, we decided to try to use our prompts to continue one of our previous stories. The results are kind of…mixed. Take a look for yourselves and tell us what you think!
Jacob wrote A Mouse in the House which began as a exploration of David’s psyche form “On the Seas of Ever After” (March 31st). It quickly shaped itself into a separate story with a protagonist of the same name. His prompts were: the act of building something, upheaval, and a “kick the dog moment.” (For those of you who don’t know, the last is the moment when a character (usually the villain) does something so obviously cruel that the audience know’s that it’s okay to dislike this person.)
Zach continued his story from April 15th, 4:42 AM. This is a direct continuation on where the story left off. his prompts were: a character’s sister, patriotism (or lack thereof) as a theme, and an ambiguous ending (which was sadly not gotten to).
Hope you enjoy!
